Yep-both T-rigged and C-rigged.

Welcome to the forum, Rob!

I've caught some nice bass with them on jigs, but now have switched to a hand pour called a Happy BeeV. It is a spin off of the Sweet Beever as it has a hula skirt attached. Hook it up to a shakey head rig and watch out!

They work, but to be completely honest. The Baby Paca's have outfished the Sweet Beavers for me everytime out. So I don't use or buy the Sweet Beavers anymore. Even though I really like the name much better.

last fall i was fishing i tournament on the Columbia river, during this period of time American shad fry have emerged and are schooling up in the wind blown shallows and the smallies follow them.. A great pattern at this time is a white rattle trap. The day in question that was my primary pattern but interestingly enough i found i could get a few more fish, quite a few more actually, by re-fishing the same area with a white trash sweet beaver. This one two punch boated over 100 2+ pound smallies and though i came in second that day I learned a valuable lesson.. You can sometimes switch lure and presentation and have double the fun off the same structure...

just something to think about...

I've only used the smallie with great success. Reverse rigging is cool because it will make the bait fall away from you much like the flying lure.

I use them almost exclusively on a weightless texas rig, especially now that we've got the hottest part of the year. The slow fall and unpredictableness of the lure shooting out of cover has both the lathargic and the active bass covered. Unfortunately for me, I haven't thrown them all year.

Used them on the Potomac, dragging them across the grass mats and letting them drop in the holes in the mats, or at the edge of the mat. The regular size with a 4/0 and the double wide with a 5/0 EWG Gammy is a great bait for this tactic.
