Default Canyon Lake

Haven't seen anything from Jim Files in a while, so I thought I would pass along the luck, or lack there of, we had at Canyon this week. Fishing wasn't bad, but my trolling motor was found to be dead about the time we reached the first fishing spot. Wound up spending the day tied up in brush and was unable to fish the area right. Caught a couple in Tom's Creek area. Water was still pretty cool (58 degrees) so we went up the Guadalupe a bit. Found water in the low 60's. First cast was a nice bass. Not huge, but it looked like a good sign. Unfortunately, it was the last fish of the day. Trolling motor is fixed now and I am looking forward to trying again, this time with all of my equipment working as it should be,
