Default Weights

What size weights do you guys use most often for texas, dropshot, carolina rig, jigs , etc.
For me
texas 3/16 oz
dropshot 1/4 oz
Carolina 1/2 oz
Jigs 1/4 and 3/8
I read somewhere where it can be good to use a different size weights than the majority of the public in order to change up your presentation to the bass.
I read where the pros say they play around with the speed of the fall to find how to generate strikes best.
