Help needed on smalmouth fishing New river,WV

Hey every one i need help on wade fishing the New River for smallmouth!! I need to know what tpes of bait should i use and how should i use it. Also any info on the best places on the river would be useful!!!! Thanks!!!!!!!

ive never fished down there, but ill just give you advice for smallies in general..smallies have a diet of alot of crawfish...use crawfish crankbaits, yum crawdads, and small jigs with crawfish trailers...also try buzzbaits in calm water in morning and at night...also try a yellow roostertail in faster moving water...also try grubs and 4 inch senkos...if you want bigger fish, use spinnerbaits and big cranks..good luck...
