Re: nests
Try fishing them with a white lizard because them you can see the bass take it. Or I would try a crawbug which can aggravate those spawners. One other thing I like to do is put a dropshot on the nest so I can keep the bait in the fishes face and aggravate him into biting.
Note also the positioning and how aggressive the bass is to taking your worm or how it reacts if the bass runs the other way its not likely you'll be able to catch him but if he is locked on go ahead. |

Re: nests
Depend on where you are depends on if the bass are on those nests, if they are bass beds. They could be bluegill beds. Either way you have a reference or a place of interest.
If it is a bass bed you know where they spawn and can find them in deeper water nearby If it is bluegill beds, bass will be near by to get an easy meal. |

Re: nests
matt......your in TX right now right? those beds are more then likely abandoned...so you can fish them.....but you wont get many big fish....i would fish deep water close to the beds.....thats the ticket....those bass are in post spawn so fish that deep water near the beds. 8)
