66 degree water

went fishing at a nearby reservoir.water temp was 66.stained water.the water was about 5-6ft below normal.got 5 bass fishing a 4" redshad worm in shallow water(2-6ft deep).all fish were caught near logs.i was surprised to catch them so shallow.i tried fishing deep and using other baits but nothing worked.had to fish the worms real slow and had the 1/8oz bullet pegged about 10" above the hook.hope this helps somebody.
