Default quick question for those of you who make spinnerbaits

Do you think this little kit

http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/st...10000_100-10-8

would be good enough to make some skirts for myself in combo's that I can't really find anywhere?

I don't wanna go an arm and a leg since I'm not gonna be going all out, just changing the skirts on my existing blades. But ,I'll do what I gotta do to get MY colors.

That's a good kit, and a nice tool to boot, Cabela's has a similar kit, might want to see if the colors are more to your liking in that kit.

Nice thing about this kit - once you use up all the stuff, you still have a nice tool! Then you can check out staminainc.com, and refill with the skirt pads you will use the most.

I make my "own" spinnerbaits just ordering the stuff from Stamina Inc. They're not THAT much cheaper then spinnerbaits off the shelves, but I did get enough stuff to make 5 spinnerbaits for under 30 bucks. Alittle cheaper, but I already had the splitshot pliers that I used for removing deep hooks. Stamina does have some nice Skirt colors too.

i dont use a kit unfortunately. i make mine im sure like DP, from scratch, lead pours and all. its a lot of fun, but costly to get started.

the "kit" isn't heads, its just skirt building material and a tool for putting the collars on.

I was just wondering if the silicone was good quality and that it wouldn't be a waste of 30 dollars.
