Default Most like to fish with?

Sometimes while watching fishing programs I wonder who I'd prefer to fish with if given the chance. I'm gonna' try to list them in order.

1. Al Linder - so knowledgable and his favorite are smallies.
2. Jimmy Houston - he cracks me up and I kiss all my bass as well.
3. Bill Dance - also extremely knowledgable and I'm from TN, Go UT!
4. Hank Parker - great stories, great angler, and he looks like my uncle.
5. Kevin Vandam - he thinks like a bass.
6. Shaw Grigsby - he just has fun no matter what.
7. Ted Nugent - A redneck rocker who tortures those city slickers.
8. Tred Barta - dude's nuts!
9. John Gillespie - midwesterner who always seems drunk.
10. Skeet Reese - I don't llike him at all and want to outfish him.

For the non-TV folks:

1. My baby girl (11 yrs. old in March).
2. My nephews (7 yrs. old and 5 yrs old).
3. My niece (14 yrs. old in March, who has caught bigger fish than me).
4. Any kid who wants to go.
5. My Mom who enjoys it because her Dad took her often.
6. My Dad who had bad experiences on outings with his Dad as a kid.
7. Anyone of you guys.

You guys have preferences?

Those Linders and the In Fisherman staff have always seemed the most knowledgable anglers I've seen on tv for all the species.

Apparently you don't mean in a tournament. ....Good 'ol Uncle Homer would be my choice. KVD too. Having read their books, it'd be cool to talk things over with them - between casts.

I did neglect to mention the In-fisherman staff.

Swindle seems like he'd keep you in stitches while fishing. But I got funnier friends.

theres nothing better than a good ole country boy to go fishin with. I think he's also very smart when it comes to fishing and I would learn a ton. Then I get the good ole yankee in KVD, so I have the best of both worlds.

Zooker, Bassintom, WTL, Rebbasser, Kevin,Robzilla, Lizards, JB, PNJ(or whatever it is this month), Jackl, there are a few more soory the brain went blank. Dont need a pro, dont really want a pro. Ill bet just in the names I typed above, I could learn as much or more than being w/ any of the above pros. Dont get me wrong there are some old timers on there who I definately give credit to, bottom line they fish because someone pays them too. What started as a love is now a love for money and fishing.

I'd have to say Bill Dance. Even though he fishes all those private lakes he thoroughly explains each bait and how to use them. I guess if all the pro's had a TV show I might pick someone different. I think it would be great to fish with anyone of the pro's because they got where they are at by knowing how to fish each situation as it comes up. KVD ranks second if I had to pick. Maybe Doug Hannon. I think he is the guy who has caught a ton of bass over 10lbs.

lol at hose holder gee my name always jumps out front don't it..

there is a lot of folks scared to fish tourny's against pros. i am not one of them. there is to many better fisherman out there that are NOT pro's. as for rick clunn i won't EVER get in the boat with this d!ck!!! i have seen it with my own eyes not to mention hearing about him from other folks that have fished with him..

my picks would be
roland martin-forgot more then most of us will ever know
denny brauer-this man while known for a pnj is the best trash thrower today
skeet reese-this guy is more fun than a drunk friend-very nice guy..
dion hibdon-any where ant time i'll fish with him again
rebbasser-wise like and owl hoot
jackl-maybe crasy but sure spends alot of time fishin
bassintom-mite learn patiance from him-used a WEIGHTLESS senko in 120 feet of water...
pnj-a jig flipper stuck in a location that sees very little jig fishing.
lou- spawn in south africa starts in october.
and for some weird reason wtl-a ba degree in bs..lol

BassTech I am with you on one of your choices. Larry Nixon...he be THE MAN!!! When it comes to fishing with a pro I have always wanted to fish with someone that specializes in a certain style bait so that I may pick his brain so with that in mind my list would go as follows....
Larry Nixon....wide knowledge of bass fishin techniques
David Fritts and mark Davis...knowledge of cranks
Denny Brauer....Who knows a jig better than him
KVD......Shoulda been named SVD spinnervan damn
Peter T......Plasctics
And last but certainly not the least
Rick Clunn

Now to get on ZOOK's a@@

ZOOK
U mean to tell me you would fish with Roland OH SONN Martin. I would rather have a tooth pulled without no novacaine. But please explain why you against Rick Clunn. I know he seems to act like he is better than others and his shall I say people skills sucks but come on the man has done very well.

Now that my pro list is done lets get to the wanna be's

Zook....His knowledge of spinnerbaits
PNJ.....Do I need to tell ya. He be da man with the flipper
Lizards...... The man knows what to do with a lizrd but wont play wit snakes
JB and BassTech...They on the ball wit da cranks

ANYONE ELSE ON THE BOARD THAT WANTS TO PUT UP WITH AN OLE SMARTA## THAT WOULD RATHER FISH THAN HAVE SEX ....So to sum it up If it aint bass fishin talk to someone else unless it is pertaining to makin yo bote go faster than I am WIT YA

welcome to the site ibass.
david fritts owns a boat dealership/tackle shop 30+ miles from here-3 miles from where i work-a nice guy that really never reveals what he knows to anybody. i seen him explaining fine tuning a depth finder to a guy.-i was more than willing to pay to hear him do this-the guy knows depth finders like no one i have ever met.
