what is a good spinner color for clear to semi clear water?

Some sort of shad color-white, blue glimmer, blue and white, etc.

Try a translucent colors skirting material, and I use Gold color for overcast days or dingy water color. I hope this helps.P N J

White/Chartreusse with silver, chartreusse or white willowleaf blades.

in clear water,i will use only white, black, and brown,depending on the color of shad.in murky water its not that easy,see they cant see those colors that well,so i will throw white/chartuese mix,maybe some orange and black.blade color is important too,but in murky water it is the blade itself that is important
a single colorado blade,the biggest you can find will do the trick.
