That would be an Aviation Electronics Technician(AT)... but you must be really old if you don't remember it since it has been around since 1948

Ah I see ... well, I never was around bird farms ... Sub tenders (Scotland), Iceland and West Virginia was my duty stations ... never got to see the carriers or airfields much. Well, actually I took a one day tour of the Ranger in San Diego ... I knew then I never wanted wanted duty on a carrier.
