musky lures for bass
The Gander Mt. store has a whole row of musky lures. Was wondering if anyone has used those for bass? If so any good results?

Re: musky lures for bass
i've used a 6" Jake for bass before in one of the holographic colors.....Only got one bite, but it was a nice 5 1/2 lber. I didn't use it again after that, but I would presume California would be a great place to musky fish for bass

Re: musky lures for bass
I haven't used any muskie lures, but I have no doubt that they'd work. Just think about the 7"ers that take normal lures, just imagine what three- and four-pounders and bigger would take.

Re: musky lures for bass
I used to muskie fish more than I bass fished and I've caught more bass over 5lbs while muskie fishing than I have muskies. 4 bass over 5lb on Joe Buchers Top Raider in bullfrog color, and 2 on bucktails. I've also heard that the BIG jitterbugs in black are great for night fishing here in Fla but I havent tried it yet.
