You sir, are a King among men. Long have I hated Stren and been able to do little about it. I have been reading your endorsements of PowerPro and decided to try it.

It is the greatest line I have ever used in 15 years of fishing. Put a 5/0 Gamakatsu EWG hook and a Gary Yamamoto Kreature bait (watermelon) on my spinning reel. 4 bass over the 7 pound mark, and 6 over 5 lbs in about 3 hours.

My thanks to you sir. As I have bought my last spool of Stren.

not me for sure. am still using the calcutta ultra braid. i like it so far...still did not feel the bass i lost in sat . tourny pick up the bait even with braid.

well considering so many pros sponsor it including that no good bill dance its no wonder wy it sells
(im using stren right now btw lol) ill pick up some power pro some day and give it a whirl i got the perfect spot to give it a test lol brutal waters where the hawgs live

I've used different lines throughout the years , but Stren has it's merits.
The Stren Fluoro. is a good line as well as the Stren Heavy Strength. With the heavy strength you can pull the boat around so as to not bother your partner when you get hung up !
The fluorocarbon is soft and casts well. Great with crankbaits in 10lb test. I also use the fluo. with jigs (20) and with worms (17) With top water and rattle-trap type baits I use the heavy strength in 14.

whoa hold the phone!!! bassman you were whining monday night about breaking that sun line -which is floro-like it was nothing..personally it is WAY over priced imo. still i have to agree it should NOT have broke like that. i think you mite have a bad roll of line there dude. that crap is supose to be the greatest floro on the planet-or so i have heard...
