Residential Pond Specs
Im a pond fisherman, being 15 its convienant. Now this residential pond(in a florida town, Mulberry...near Lakeland) has no cover except a tree with its branches in the water and occasionally see bass and gar within the branches. I need to know if there are specs and how to catch them. All of the bass I catch come from me casting a spinnerbait in the deeper water(the middle of the pond). i cast from the shore so i cant drift in a boat. Any baits or tips to finding these specs would be apprieciated. ps. my cousin said he had caught one there but on what..who knows. So help me out if you can. Thanks.

Re: Residential Pond Specs
this is a BASS fishin site. i cant help you on the specs, except maybe a live minnow or beetle spin. but as far as the bass go, they are most likely finishing up spawn. so try shallow water in baby bass, like a worm in baby bass, or a spinnerbait in chartruese. just fish shallow in a baby bass color.
