rough tourney yesterday
launched at 22 degrees still snow on the ground in places, electronics partially frozen. scraping ice out of the rod guides for the first two hours so we could cast. managed to scrape out a limit (4 fish) for 6.46 lbs. Not enough for win i believe we came in 6th place. I was surprised to see 5 limits come off this lake in those conditions. Winning weight was just over eight lbs. good for points but a tough day overall ............. Scott R

Re: rough tourney yesterday
it all comes back to me. Now i remember why i quit tournament fishing. A day on the lake like that was all i needed. Sounds like you did well for those conditions.

Re: rough tourney yesterday
That's a great day under those conditions 8) I'm with you, very surprising that many limits. Was it a deep lake, where most of the fish were caught deep ???

Re: rough tourney yesterday
we actually caught our fish shallow, my theory is the better quality fish had already gone deep. water temp was 50.5 ............. Scott R

Re: rough tourney yesterday
i have had my graphs screen freeze over it is a real pain to see how deep you are when it is covered in ice. think they should invent a graph with a defroster unit on it.
