Default eagle fish finder

i bought a boat and the bow fishfinder, an eagle classic, doesnt work proplerly.... i press the on button and the screen flashes and then nothing...... but my question is if i buy another fish finder by eagle will it plug right in or will i need to run the new transducer and power cord.....?

if you buy a new depth finder most come as a kit with everything you need transducer,mount,depthfinder,power cord plug in ...

What zooker said. However if you buy the same model# it should plug in perfectly. However I would check out the power connections. I had the same problem, seems like everytime I would remore the fishfinder, getting the plugs back in place, and to stay in place was a son of a gun. Mine is removable, but I quit taking it off. Since then I've had no problems. Plus a spare transducer is always a good thing IMO.

i went wire hunting today and found an inline fuse holder that had some mysterious electrical tape on it..... took it apart to find it had no spring holding the terminal against the fuse... bought another fuse holder at the local hardware store..... problem solved

don't ya just LOVE working on wiring in a boat ? i often wonder just how big a midget they hire to do it. just to annoy us big guys..
