Default Posting Pictures

There have been several questions about this from several people, so hopefully this will answer any questions.

I'm going to use the banner from the top of this page.

Start with the picture you want to post. Â*It must be somewhere on the web-you can't link to a picture on your hard drive. Â*I have had good luck with this free hosting site:

http://community.webshots.com/

It is free to register and follow the instructions to upload.

Using the banner at the top of the page as an example:

Start by right-clicking on the image. Â*In the box that opens up, at the bottom it says "properties". Â*Left click on that and a box will open up that looks like this:

In the center of the box you will see an address:

Put the cursor on the address, starting with the first h in http and hold down the left button on the mouse and move it across the address until the entire address is highlighted. Â*Then, leaving the cursor on the highlighted address, release the left button, right click, and select "copy". Â*Now you are ready to post the link.

Start or respond to a thread, and when you want to insert a picture click on this yabb code box:

That will insert a code that looks like this:

[ img][/img]

Put the cursor in between the ] and the [ and click paste. Â*Now the picture is linked and should display.

[ img]http://www.bassfishin.com/public_html/YaBBImages/yabblogo.gif[/img]

Will show up as

If you want to add the code manually there is no space between the [ and i in the first [img]

Hope this helps!

woohoo, thanks big fella..

this is my little boat, it's a 4.3metre Aluminium Cat (kitten actually, not really big enough to be a real cat)
centre console, powered by a single 40hp Merc.
fantastic little boat.
which by the way is the real 'Felix'
cheers all

Zooker, commonsense prevails most times.
where i do the majority of my fishing we are sort of protected by a couple of islands about 15 miles offshore.
but the bay can be really treacherous at short notice if you dont pay attention.
it's very economical & easy to handle solo.
my little baby handles as well as some bigger boats.
it is very stable, quite deep inside. perfect for big bay work. on a good day if you have direct access to the open sea it will happily go a few miles offshoe without any problems whatsoever, Â*it has big brothers that are more capable, but they were not what i was after so i downsized.
they are the only singled engined cat available down here so are competitive with mono hulls in price.
if interested you can look at them at http:/www.websterstwinfisher.com.au
while not the prettiest boats they are great boats.
cheers

i did not intend to slight your boat felix the phrase "ity bity tin can" is refuance to it being an aluminum boat.i have insanly ventured out 13 miles to fish a wreck in lake ontario a few times in a 16 foot lund with a 20 horse tiller moter...

i do not see a trolling moter on your lil feller. can you not get one or do you not use one? a 12 volt system would haul that boat around quite well.....

no mate, i was not offended. it's been called worse than that.

cost of electric motors is more than i can spare ( i need both arm & leg ) i would love to have one.
i usually use the wind to do a drift across the area i am fishing, being high sided it can drift a bit quick if the breeze is up. but hey, i just love to get out. have picked up a heap of stuff from reading you guys, that i think should work for me.look forward to getting out in the next week or two.
cheers
