Default Improvised boat headlight.

My older brother, being the terrible driver that he is (was) totaled his first car, a 1983 Cadillac Eldorado convertable. Well since my grandfather bought the car for him, we havent got rid of the thing yet...my grandfather is a sucker for old cadillacs but in his old age he doesn't realize that it isn't worth fixing up.

Anyways, this thing has good headlights still - I was wondering how feasible the idea would be to rip a headlight off and jerry-rig it to fit the front my boat...in other words like what ranger has, and for the same reasons.

This is a spotlight/nav light combo. Its from Bass Pro Shops, and I know some of you have had bad luck with them lately, but you should be able to find them elsewhere, too. At $250, I would have to go with a hand-held light, I think.

I've got a 2M candlepower Qbeam. Much better than a car headlight and a lot less trouble, too. Like Nitro said, just go with a handheld.
