then the walk-the-dog technique is best. somebody here should be able to tell you how to do it. its kinda hard to explain. but you lower your rod tip and pull it back and forth. the spook should move side to side eratically.

A Zara Spook has essentially one retrieve, known as walking the dog. The lure darts or pivots to the right then to the left to the right again all the way back to the boat. This can be acomplished by holding the rod tip down and twitching the rod with short downward jerks with your wrists. At the same time, the reel is cranked half a turn with each jerk to make the spook move forward at the same time it is pivoting from side to side. With a little practice you'll be able to do it like a pro.

And if your serious you will get more replys if you register.
