Re: odor remover
I know what you mean. I love to do some good catfishing when I am in the mood. I usually do mine at night though when they are moving into the shallows to feed. Shiners are really good to use at night. Put them on a slip rig, cast them in about 3 foot of water and wait.

If your wife isn't watching, rub your hands on stainless steel...the kitchen sink, the faucet, whatever. Â*It works. Â*Somebody sells Â*stainless steel shaped like a bar of soap. Â*You can get one at the link below.

Re: odor remover
Stainless steel will take the odor away but whats wrong with catfish bait smell ?It reminds me of a liverswurst, just add onion and a slice of brie cheese and it smells better than the sandwich. ;D Heck washing your hands using the gravel on the bottom of the lake or stream will remove the smell also.P N J

Lizards[/quote] "GOJO" Natural Orange citrus pumice cleaner. Found in the auto section. Used by mechanics some. I used to use it when working construction, and you were always a mechanic. Anyway it is great for oil and grease removal, and works on odors too, with the orange citrus smell. Lizards |

I just used it yesterday to get gas smell off my hands after working on my project boat. Â*I washed with regular soap and water, but still had the smell. Â*Pulled out the trusty Gojo and within 3 minutes the gas smell was gone. Â*Replaced with that citrus fresh smell. Gee, I sound like a commercial. Â*;D |

Re: odor remover
Hey, I have heard of both lemon juice and once was told that if you are cooking seafood, to get odor out take a spoon (eating utensil) and rub your hands on it. I am not kidding at all

Re: odor remover
Same concept as the stainless steel, I guess. And less likely to get me in trouble with the wife. I can play off the spoon thing easier than the sink or faucet.

Nitro,
When earlier you said the stainless steel, that was what reminded me of the spoon. I thought the lady that told me that was nuts, Haha Sandra |

Re: odor remover
It was my grandfather who told me about the faucet. I don't know why it never dawned on me about all of the other stainless stuff there is around the house.
