Re: jigs with trailers
Jigs and trailers are good all year around. I use Strike Kings Denny Bruaer pro model jigs and I love them. You can get any jig and have good luck with them. I have some with rattles and some with out they both work very well. If you are looking to purchase jigs look on ebay first as you can find a killer deal on them..

They sure do. I always have one tied on. For me color is more important than brand. You can't go wrong with black/blue, watermelon, and green pupkin with matching trailers.

Re: jigs with trailers
Jigs work good and they catch big fish. I like the Hart Justice Jig with a Yum or Zoom trailer.

Re: jigs with trailers
I use black/blue with a craw trailer. Throw it in heavy cover and under docks.

Re: jigs with trailers
As for brands, the Wal-Mart special works about as well as the name brands. In other words:It doesn't matter.Best color for me is a solid blue jig which is hard to find and a blue-black jig.For a trailer ,I like a # 11 uncle Josh in "natural" color(looks like a brownish-red crawfish)

Black/blue walmart stikekings with a blue zoom trailer work best for me. Throw them under docks and next to brush. Â*;D

Re: jigs with trailers
i love jigs. they produce well for me, or lately they have been. i love those ultimate jigs. they make alot of noise, and work very well. i put anykind of craw plastic i have on it, whatever i see first, goes onto the jigs as a trailor. black/blue jigs really have done good for me, also a pear looking jig has done good. not sure the brand of it, but the color and shape is the same as a pear. i trailor a mizmo tube on that one.

Booyahs and Strike Kings for me. Try to purchase one with rattles. Rattles resemble a crawdad clicking its pinchers. Black and blue is a proven color. 02 what is an ultimate jig?

Re: jigs with trailers
I just found out BPS is now carrying my favorite jig-thought they quit making them. It is a Cyclone Thunder Rattle Jig. I like them because they have a bullet shaped head rather than a round one, heavy duty hooks and come in the colors I like.
