Default Weedless Eagle Claw Hooks

Has anyone used the Weedless Eagle Claw hooks, and if so, do you find that they are difficult to set? Would you suggest any other weedless hooks?

Just got back from fishing, I sharpened the hooks a little bit, and I caught some big ones. I like these hooks. I usually T rig, but there is alot of floating vegitation and it still gets caught up. Use these hooks, sharpen them first. Have fun!!!!!

Jim,

As with any weedless hook , you can adjust the weedgaurd as needed, I am guessing that hook has just one wire weedguard,
but if you ever experience a weedguard that is on most jigs , you can fan those out or cut a tad off the end for your preference, A lot of anglers will do that on jigs for a better hookset..it really depends on what your have on the hook, plastics, pork, large profile or small etc..good luck angling!

They are tough to beat for wacky rigging in cover.

Dear Jim,

I just tried them a couple of days ago. They worked quite well... used it with a mister twister, I love getting right in the middle of the weeds...
