can i do this
in murky/muddy water is it safe to still use the darker colored baits like green pumpkin colored and other dark ones

you not only can. but you should. Â*Blacks and dark browns and dark greens are the way to go when fishing murky water cause a bass's eyes are not like ours. Â*In murky water they'll pck up darker things and in clear water they pick up lighter things.

yep!I'd also add junebug to that list of colors.And let me take it one farther and try dipping the tails in chartruese Spike-It dye...

You can, but I have found that brighter colors like chartreuse are better in muddy water due to their visibility. Only way to find out, though is to throw them and see what happens.

Yes you can. There are 2 trains of thought with murky water, with both darker and brighter baits both plugged. Try them both, see which work for you, then let us know!
That aside, with murky water, something that puts out good vibration and has a large profile is a good choice, regardless of its color. |

i have had godd suscess with a wooley hawg tail in melon seed with chatruse dyed tail. as well as a bush hog, in june bug .
