Re: Spotted Bass
Yup they walk n talk and eat just like mr black bass.
Sometimes they have a small spot under thier chin And usually dont get quiet as big as the largemouth, a 4 or 5 lb spotted bass is a nice one! Usually on the ky. side of the ohio river you'll catch a spotted bass around here, average 12-14 inches. I was fishing redman near barkley lake in KY an a buddy got a 4.5 lb spot .. thats the biggest one I've seen caught....... |

Re: Spotted Bass
The spotted bass looks very much like the largemouth. However the spotted bass has a dark spot on the gill cover and spots or streaks along the lower side of the body. The spotted bass has a rough tongue patch located in the middle of the tongue. Of bass speices the spotted bass can live in the deepest water.Spotted bass have been caught as deep as 100 feet. Not many anglers singlely target spotted bass. Most are caught while fishing for largemouth.
