Default Fishing for Big Bass

I am leaving tomorrow for a couple of stocked ponds in central Ohio. There are big bass, my friend called me and told me he caught five in an hour, and none were under five pounds. What should i use to start using for what they are bitting on? No idea what water clarity is.

You should tell your freind to be more accurate when telling the weight of the bass he is catching. Just fish what lures you are comfortable using and allow the fish to bite, you will do just fine. P N J

Call your buddy up and ask him what he was using. An assortment of topwater, some plastics, and anything you can stuff into your bag.
