Default Guns

I love fishing, but I also love going to the shooting range and firing a few magazines full of ammo. What are yall favorite that you take to the range? Mine has to be my Berretta 92fs and Smith and Wesson 787 357 mag. In Rifles I love to take my 270 and 10/22. 8)

Favorite? A Springfield Rifle with a trap door - found in an atack in Jonesboro Georgia that used to be a hospital during the Seige of Atlanta. Not sure if it is a 1861 or 1866 model, it has few markings.

M1 Garand and M1 Carbine. Genuine WW2 firearms. but the only time i go to the range is to qualify, so I usually only shoot the M-9 pistol and the M-16A2 assault rifle.

my favorite small bore that i own is my little Savage Arms .22... I got it for my 15th Birthday

Actually Dyas, 10 guages dont hurt!! I could shoot one all day. My dad has an SP-10, it shoots 3 and 1/2 inch shell, in the magnum loads. I took my second turkey with one!

I like to take the 300. Win. Mag. to the longe range(250 yrds+)
I like the 270. for ranges up to 250 yrds.
and I like the Mossberg for clays
Powerbass 10guages do hurt. Or at least the one I shot did. It didnt have harly any pading and was real light w/ no barrel breaker................

This is a remington SP-10, wieghs 7 lbs, not alot of padding and shoots the big shells. I can shoot the thing all day with magnum loads. But then again Dyas, Im a bigger guy than you also.

I think that may be why it doenst hurt me. I want to shoot the .338 really bad. We might go to a range that lets you use an m-16. They do look fun!!!

I have shot the M-16A1 and the M-16A2. the A1 is a terrible weapon. it always gets jammed, and the carbon build up is terrible. One thing that most people don't know about the M-16A1 (the one used in vietnam) is that it was made by Mattell (the toy company)

The M-16A2 is a lot better, a lot easier to assemble and disassemble, and takes alot more to get gunked up. The A2 model is made by Colt, and is by far a better weapon.

They are fun to shoot, but i like my M-9 better.

when the first sergeant tells you to get rid of all remaining ammo and police the brass, we can empty those mags in record time. set it to burst and let 'er rip!!
