Re: Cranks
Over two thousand. No B.S, I recently had to inventory all my gear for insurance reasons. i have 2,354 crankbaits. I had to build a special storage area in my outbuilding to house them all.It has a slot designed for each of the trays to fit in.It is 6'Tall and 4' Wide.and it is FULL. Even I didnt know I was THAT addicted to the dang wobblers.Everything from Original Bombers and Big O's to Lucky Crafts. I have WAY WAY WAY more than I will EVER use, but it is my single most favorite go to bait ever created. I have been using cranks for twenty + years so i have accumalated alot.

Re: Cranks
Seeing I make my own I have alot more than I should but heres a note for the younger fellers.
When I was younger I woul always go to places heavy fished from shore I got swim fins and a mask, go early in the morning when no one was there, go down and get all the crank baits I could find. I have filled tackle boxes doing this. I know some divers who will go down and put old box spring matreses down on the waters bottom to help out with getting more cranks. ;D I know some of you have water aligators where you are but for the guys who don't it's an easy way to fill the tackle box for free. Re: Cranks
Wow Charles WTG!
I 've met guys with that many or even that many spinnerbaits , and they used to have wire clothes lines in the basement to hold them on, There used to be an old guy in greenfield ind. that had his whole living room done up like that , but he sold them, so it was kinda a display,,, Whats the most valued one or the rarest one? they prob dont even make some of them anymore do they.. I tend to keep about 50 crankbaits and usually loose about one a month , either somewhere where the boat can't reach to get it, or too deep, I need a hound dawg lure retriever..or a sparkplug rig lol |
