Nice Smallie.....
My son and I had put 2 new fishfinders on our boat and we decided to hit the water to try them out. Wouldn't you know it, while I'm going over all the settings on them he picks up a spinnerbait and on the first cast hooks this smallmouth! It weighed in at 5.3 lbs.
Ol' Dad can't catch a break. |

Good eyes guys! It is indeed a river fish. Good ol' Pickwick to be exact.
About the Yankee's cap. He just wears it to pi$$ people off. > You won't find many NY fans here in Alabama. |

Re: Nice Smallie.....
We are fishing the Triton Boat Owners Trny. June 23-25.
I just got a map of Pickwick today. Stopped in at the local tackle store today and to my surprise they had a map. Going to do a little studying and try to find some of the places you guys have already mentioned. |

I love the strike king bleeding bait spinnerbaits. Especially the bleeding gold shiner, catches a lot of hawgs around here. |

Re: Nice Smallie.....
Ranger do you throw spinnerbaits most of the time or did it happen to be what was tied on?

Look at the pic. Â*Cloudy skies and a little bit of wind, best conditions for spinnerbaiting. |

Hula hit the nail on the head!!!!!!! You couldn't have asked for better conditions that day for a spinnerbait.
