Default Rapala Lures

My favorite Rapala is the countdown in perch color.

I was just wondering what your favorite rapala and color/size is.

Their whole line is pretty good, in my opinion. My favorite is the Original Shad Rap. The Countdown is an excellent bait and hardly ever gets talked about, but it flat-out catches fish.

I like the DT series. I also like the floating Rapalas (Gold w/black back & silver w/black back) on a spinning rod when bass aren't hitting bigger jerkbaits.

BassAddict22, the X-Rap is a jerkbait.

I think I'm apparently one of the few guys who liked the Risto Raps when they came out - although I've gotten away from using them and crankbaits in general. Besides that, the X-Rap is an OK lure, not revolutionary of course, but what lure is?

22, an X-Rap is a suspending jerkbait or as they call it, slashbait. Whatever you want to call it, is looks great in the water and catches fish.

Heck if I know LOL
I do graphic art as a hobby and am always doing a Google Image search for items to photoshop, so when I hear of baits I usually go to the image search and see what it looks like...The Senko for example, last year I had fished a sticko and loved it but never had investigated the senko brand.. it sure looks like a winner
