Pre-Spawn Lures
Here in Ohio we have so many good places to bass fish. I was just wondering what some of the best pre spawn bass lures are to use. I am fishing a rocky reservoir, but i found out it doesn't have very many bass, but what it does have are a minor amount of larger ones. There is also perch. I am looking for tips for both of these fish. I am also looking for live bait techniques.

Nothing deadlier for smallmouth than a live minnow on a slip bobber , or a plastic craw with or without a jig, rig it texas style for variation

Just say my name three times and click your heels together, and you'll be in Fish Heaven, catching the basses ;D

Re: Pre-Spawn Lures
I have to agree with Lizards on this one. Pre-spawn springtime, a bunch of fish fall to the LIZARD, oh by the way tubes also.

Re: Pre-Spawn Lures
Lizards, craws, tubes, big grubs, creature baits, they all work for me, I usually use the bigger stuff, like 8-10 inch lizards, big flippin tubes, and bulky creature baits. good luck and for the perch try a little peice of worm.
