Who me? I just saw this title and without logging in I decided to type my response.

i don't use a laser sight on any of my guns. but a laser pointer hitting me would have a clip emptied in that direction with no questions asked.
had an 11 yr old try to mug me once with a switch blade. just because i looked drunk as a skunk-which i was-to make a long story short umm... still got the knife some wheres.... it might all be fun and games to them but a razor sharp knife is one thing you don't joke about...

Fishie, You did the right thing by calling the police. There's alot of young kids out there today that don't care about getting into trouble. And if I were you I would have a nice long talk with the kid and his parents. Sounds like the kid needs help, and who knows, you may be the one to help him. Being as there were no harm done to you, you can mark this one up as learning experience and try to be safer by closing your window blinds at night.

I was at school when I posted under unregistered. Wasn't doing anything but there are some crazy people out there so you can't let your gaurd down.
