Default Reccomended rods with good flex

I bought a Berkley cherrywood graphite rod a few weeks ago and used it for the first time yesterday, I dident like the feel of the rod at all, it barley had any flex on the cast and it threw me off quite a bit, the reason i bought this is because i had been using an ultra-light because for long time i only fish tiny holes heavily shrouded with tree branches, just wondering what where some good 6'6 rods with a lot of flex..thanks

What action did you get-medium, medium heavy, heavy, etc.?

Also, how heavy was the bait you were using-if it was a real light bait those are harder to throw with a heavier action rod.

The flex of the tip is more a factor of the action than anything else. The lighter action the more flex you gat.

If you looking for a good rod with a lot of flex but a backbone to fight the fish i would go with a shakespear Ugly Stick hands down

Get yourself one of those crankin sticks from bass pro they are limber and have a decent backbone. They are forgiving so you don't pull the hook out a basses mouth with a crank. My friends claim they are a good rod.
