locating beds in murky water
Is there any way to locate bass beds in off colored water? My primary lake is off colored. If this question has been posted already let me know and I'll search back. Thanks.

Re: locating beds in murky water
Well the only way is for you to really be able to see something, so it depends on how murky we are talking. If you are cruising the shallows and you happen to just see a light area in about 2 1/2 feet of water, it is generally a good tactic to cast to it as if it is a bed.

Here's an article from Bassresource.com. It surprised me when they said a good locator bait for bedding bass in dirtier water is a buzzbait. Check it out not to bad of an article.

If you know of a shallow hard-bottomed bay od some sort, fan cast with a lizard or senko or whatever you like and try to cover the whole area.
