Re: favorite name brand crankbait?
I've loved cranking ever since I started fishing. Dozens of brands do well, but if I had to choose just one brand, I guess it would have to be Rapala.

Really don't have one. I use Strike King, Rapala, Bandit, Bomber, Mann's-really a mixed bag.

Re: favorite name brand crankbait?
I love to use crankbaits and provoke reaction strikes from bass as the crankbait deflects off of cover! The Original Storm Wiggle Wart is my favorite. I also really like the Rapala DT Series and older Rapala Risto Raps.

Carolina Chip's Â*Best I've seen or used. 8) Â*The only problem I have with them, is I stick myself EVERYTIME I tie one on, because of the sticky gammy hook's are so sharp

Re: favorite name brand crankbait?
i havnt used to many cranks yet, but i will have to agree with lizards, chip makes great crankbaits. the only thing is they are sooo expensive. i really like them, but i dont like to throw them in heavy grass for fear of losing it, but i will eventually start throwin them in it. untill then, i will just throw them everywhere else. i like manns baby 1- and rapala, and other cheaper crankbaits.

Kybasser[/quote] I know you love your cranks, really ought to give Chip's a try. I promise you won't be dissappointed. And no I don't get paid by him or anyone for talking up their stuff. Lizards |

Lizard,
I plan on it but I have been trying to find a job lately and have to spend money wisely . I did however have him make me two poppers during the winter and have caught several fish on them. Kybasser |

I've got Berkley, Rapala, Bomber, and Bill Lewis Rat-L-Traps. Right now I'd have to say my favorite is the Rat-L-Trap because you can hear that thing in the water a mile a way.
