A Scum Frog. and not trying to be mean, but reading that post was like listening to someone who talks WAY too fast. use some periods or something. Slow down and catch your breath.
A scum frog is what i would use. Or a floating worm. How shallow is it. you could try a shallow running crankbait around the trees, but u might hang up alott. Charles |

well, i have to agree, you did sound like you just drank a pot of coffee, but i would try a rapala skitter pop or skitter prop, in a natural frog color.

Re: i need ur help
Just what they said. You got to present what the bass are used to seeing in there. If there are a lot of frogs, then chances are the bass are feeding on them alot.

Re: i need ur help
Gotta see those sand minnows or no bass in pond (Joke)
Anyways... if there are a lot of frogs that could be a sign that there are not many bass in the pond which i say that because if there are tons and tons of frogs obviously bass eat frogs and if there are tons than obviously there are no bass too eat them... But suppose there are bass... I would throw a buzz bait in the lillypads... Anywhere else i'de throw a spinnerbait and a senko and swim a jig around the weeds |

Re: i need ur help
One question is, are you sure it is a fishing pond and not just a drainage run off?
With it being behind a store, sounds like it may just be a run off to keep their parking lot form getting flooded when it rains. |

Why not put your location in your signature so we can see where you are?
When the water warms up sufficiently, I'd fish the heck out of that pond, targeting what you believe to be the best cover. You can use a variety of lures, but I'd be sure to put soft plastics (high-percentage lures) to a lot of use, because the first thing you want to learn is what's in there, then proceed from that point. |

I would try a white ghost. Had a lot of luck with it in over grown ponds.
