Mizmo Tubes
Am I the only one who uses the 4" Mizmo big boy tubes ?The name is misleading, the tube body is hort and compact ,the tails are long for a different profile.I have found that the Mustad Ultrapoint 38105BLN Ultralock worm hook in 3/0 is the biggest hook you can put in the tube.In my opinion they are a very good tube bait. P-n-J
I see you finally got the decoder ring. Â*Mizmo's are prolly my favorite tubes. Â*As far as the Mustad hooks, thats the only hook to put in a tube. Â*When you texpose it the hook point sort of points back into the plastic. Â*I loose very few fish when using these hooks. Â*Oh yeah almost forgot. Set the decoder ring to c-34.7 It will tell you to also check out Gene Larew's fat tail tubes. They're a little soft so you need to glue them on the hook, but a really different tube profile. |

Re: Mizmo Tubes
IL, I am glad we finally agree on something. ;D I still use the Eagle claw Shaw Grigsby high performance hooks also. They are difficult to find but work well on the shorter bodied tubes, but the Mustad ultra lock hook is heavier wire if you like braided lines.Rebbasser,Sorry for encouraging the bait gorilla but these are a great baits. ;D P N J
