Default scratching that itch

i used to fish this certain lake all the time. basicly cause my boat was UGLY -78 landue- this was and still is a pay to launch lake. it used to be 3.75 now 7 bucks -go figure-although the lake is roughly 2100 acres you can only fish 1200 acres or it.when i joined the club i am currantly in, they had it off limits then changed the tourny to else were.so they renewed an itch so to speak to go to this lake. so i went and fished it every bass i caught was in less than 3 feet of water holding off wood -bout as much wood on this lake as there is on harris lake-but i got 5 bass big going 4.5 and 10 crappie-could not keep them off the purple headed warrior-well i was doing a lot of short hops down a bank. i reached down to pull up the tm and came back with a rope and handle-add long string of cuss words here- i ran to the launch-cause there is only one- i seen a guy weigh in a whopping 7.3 pound hawg. my day ended at 11 am but i made the best of it.

Been there and done that. Now I keep a spare rope in the boat for just such an occasion.
