Define where in Orlando. Honestly, O town has lakes everywhere. Ive caught fish all over the place. There are hundreds of lakes, most can be accessed on foot. Biggest thing to look for is gators and snakes. If you are looking for big time, you can catch a guide service on Toho, Kiss., Disney, Butler Chain. All depends on time and how far you want to travel. I work on an ambulance and tend to wet a line or two in various spots all over Orange county.

Just got back from Kissimmee. Man its tough right now, the lake is real low and the fish are uncooperative in general, especially larger fish. Most of the locals arent even going out, which told me plenty.

I know George_welcome, a member here, runs a a guide service out of stick marsh.....Check the fishing reports page. As for public lakes, there will be ponds in front of your hotel, on the side of the road, in front of walmart, wherever. Fish them.....Most hold bass.
