Default Spinnerbait guru available?

Well taking time off from fishing has ruined most of my skirts and some blades on my spinnerbaits.
At one time my partnerand I bought the molds, wires, blades and all the hardware to make our own...but even at the end of the 90s we saw all the new thinner wire and high tech paint jobs on the spinners,
So my question to ya'all is what is popular and what do you use and why?
I know what style blades I need and skirt selection, what I am looking for is prices and trends in todays spinnerbaits..Anyone?
Thanks 8)

I use whatever spinnerbaits I can get. I love 'em and use them, but always end up losing them. Â*I like the ones at wally world for a buck each. Â*They're decent spinnerbaits, but I'm not afraid to throw them into the nastiest stuff I can find, cause they're only a buck. Spinnerbait+ brush and downed trees= FISH!!! Plus they've got a decent blade and skirt selection. Â*Besides that I like to use strike king, cause they've got a wide variety, thin wire, and ultra sharp hooks.

thanks
i agree on using the spinnerbait
Â* Â*i flip them in the heart of a tree top instead of trying to aim with a cast, its actually easier to pitch or flip it than winging it all day, if your close enough to the target

Chartruese and white, Chartruese, and White make up 99% of my spinnerbaits.

Do any of you fish those titanium kind that spring back to life?

Also, i always put a kalin lemon chaphone color
(white on one side chartruse on the other) behind my spinner bait, also usually buy 2 of each kind, one i turn upside down and hold back half the skirt, then take the other half of the skirt and cut 1 inch off to give it more action,
Just like adding a fat grub to the spinnerbait can slow the retrieve I also use a worm trailer on buzzbaits sometimes for a slower retrieve.
Saw a buddy using a discarded 6 inch worm and take about 4 inches of the auger tail and used it on the buzzbait and had some hits that day..it sure looks weird tho lmao

the only spinnerbait i throw is a hart spinnerbait. they have all kinds of good ones on there website and one thing i really like about them is they put 2 red silicone trailers on the back. and i cut the skirt down on all my spinnerbaits to about 1/8 or 2/8 of an in. below the hook .

I rather not have a titanium wire , you cannot adjust the bait for different situations. A regular wire you can open them up to make them fish slower, although they will pull a little harder than normal, or you can pinch them closed and burn them over weedbeds.I am not really into using spinnerbaits anymore, I use a Hildebrandt pro series spinnerbait with excellent results. They were under $3.00 a bait too. ;D P N J
