Shimano Citica
I might be getting one of these for Christmas, and i was just wondering yalls opinion on them. Also, if this isnt it, i would like yalls choice for the best reel under 150. Any input is welcome.

I had one for a day, I took it back. I thought it was very difficult to set so it wouldn't backlash.I got it adjusted so it didn't backlash all of the time, but maybe 1 out of 15 casts. That still to me is unacceptable, I want to be fishing, not ****ing with a reel.If you are going to buy it, buy the Bass pro citica /Extreme rod combo.I think it was $129 for the combo where as the reel was $120 by itself. i have heard both good things about it and bad things. some good things is that it has the high efficiency gearing,so it has alot of power,it also has the super free pinion gear, which you had to pay an extra $50 last year for the curado sf,so it is like that reel with out the price.

I'd defenitely go with a pflueger president, I was a fan of shimanos for a while, but tehn I started using pflueger's. Shimanos don't last nearly as long it seems.
