Default cleaning the ol' tacklebox

Days like this, rainy and gets dark by 6pm, I figured as good as anytime to straighten out the ol' tacklebox..
Many a times I throw a crankbait back in the plano with out completely cutting off the braid, so during a taped hour of Miami Ink tonight I got about 200 crankbaits cleaned up and unhooked from each other, and put them in categories on size and depth...that powerpro is hard to nip off! rofl
Went to the top storage area and reorganized the tubes, lizards, worms, senkos and crawss, realized I have room for a few more packs!
I also try to look at what I bought last year, and never used them(crankbaits) or never caught anything on them yet...theres 8-10 newbies I need to get wet and give em a try..got one more box of crankbaits of just flatsided bomber A's and rattletraps, sharpened some hooks, and this time put the traps in the same color categories.
The seasons not over yet, but by thanksgiving it will be, even the crappies get hard to find.
anyone else have there end of the year rituals? or just wait till next spring to clean up? I learn years ago to clean it up to avoid rusty hooks .

Not any more, I just keep fishing LOL. Used to go hunting, but not this year. I can't believe it was 76 degrees today, man this is November.

I never clean up, I just keep making more!

I have a bad habit of giving stuff away, though, keeps the stock way down.

I could never give stuff away!
Took me around 3-4 hrs last time I did it!
Wanting more stuff, but not wanting to pay for it/organize it!

Well, giving stuff away usually leads to folks coming back to buy more

That's what works for. I straighten and clean up stuff while working. Unfortunately I don't have a end of season time. Even though July-September would be a good time.

the mess tent lining up the condiments according to height an popularity
