Geesh, time to rant
every f/n fall up here in ohio the weather is all rainy and then gets about 20ish at night, then a few weeks later its 70 and sunny..for about 4 days, then back to cold n wet.. for some reason this always makes stuff break down...fall after fall.. this last two weeks, the bike broke a valve, running to work in 26 degree weather, then my f/n pc monitor croaks, the new furnace brain goes out, now to day the f/n tv is all green.. lucky for me being a cheapas*, I found a guy with a new monitor that I purchased for 25 bucks, got the furnace going for a 300 price tag (oh sir , yourwarramty on that part just ran out 2 days ago) geesh! the bike is going to the bikeshop in a few weeks, i dont expect it to be hard to fix, but I've already been talking to a guy that may sell me his 1999 vulcon800 (i anit into harleys, have had one before) got the tv replaced with one we had upstairs that is brand new, but when my daughter got married she left it here, so no biggie to bring it downstairs for the swapout, BUT, the f/n tv is 3 inches wider, so I had to make a "hillbillie" type fix for it, extended out the entertainment stand with plywood n 2x4 bracing, will have to stain it tomorrow.. so..anyone else have shyt break down when the weather changes (fall) like ol jb? or am i just trippin ![]() |

No man I work on these x-ray film processor machines (along with the generators, dry laser printers, multiviewers, yadda yadda yadda)
In the fall and the spring during the season changes they do all kinds of wierd things. You are not trippin', I hate it when stuff at home craps out! I'm cheap too. And as you well know the weather in the greater STL area can fluctuate like it does in Cincy. Take a pitcher of thet there entertainment center modification an' post it!!!!

JB, A Hillbilly would duct tape the television to the empty beer keg he uses as a stand. Do you realize a entertainment center cost money ? A man could buy more duct tape, beer & bullets with that kind of cash. Maybe even a new whiz bang lure if his ol' lady was to pick out the entertaiment center, they always got premium priced stuff in mind.Just remember to treat her to a new feather duster while your at town, since you made feather tailed treble hooks for your top water baits with her old one, it anit worked the same since .

A chainsaw and a coupla cold ones and it will be like art deco man...
don't get too invested...it will begin to own you and you will have to make continual improvements...until you have a media center not an entertainment center

If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all. JB , you ever watch Hee Haw on that there tv set ?If 'n you lived closer, I would give you the console Zenith I have, so you can sit your TV on it.The screen don't work , but you can still listen to the shows.Be damned if I can find Hee Haw on since the screen workin 15 years ago.

Dang Reb, I wasn't sure if that was a Hee Haw picture, or last tuesday nights line to vote, down at the town hall here at home ? Can you beleive they made you write your name down before you could vote ?Thats when the line started to form, Ol farmer Carl anit ever been able to write his name, but he wanted to vote none the less. It was on his sumptin to do before he dies list, so it took him about 24 minutes and 6 different crayons before he got his signature scratched down on paper.
