Default Help with jigs please!

I have been learning how to fish a jig, and I found this really cool looking jig trailer, but I need some help, I need to know what the best way to fish these things would be, this trailer looks like a craw, and moves really good in the water, but I dont think im doing something right, the trailer is from www.eaglecreeklure.com, and its a finesse craw, can anyone help me.

Your a piss poor pathetic excuse for a free advertisement. Don't think that anything having to do with a jigs can get by on different forums. I am at a majority of them. P N J bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1165622073

http://www.bassfishin.com/bassfishin...wpm&pmid=19744 This is really going to get my friendship. You might want to try a more subtle approach next time. Kevin most likely will remove this post. Take care, sorry I made you angry, but next time use common sense when spreading bullshyt. P N J

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, chances are that it's a duck. PNJ is just calling it like he sees it. He's been around here long enough that those of us that a regulars are going to take his word that it's a duck. So you should probably head on to the next board with members that don't know a duck when they see one.

Oh and by the way there are only 90 posts started in the last two weeks on how to fish a jig. How about reading one of those first?

Default sorry not trying to spam

I was doing really good with jigs until it got cold, thought I would ask a question, sorry I thought that was what this was for, I guess I know next time to not try and push a product I like, or ask questions about what I might be doing wrong, Thanks for welcoming me to this site feels good to have people jump all over me.

Ah, I love it when PNJ lets it go rotflmao. If you want to advertise, PM Kevin, the site owner/Administrator. I'm sure he would be more than happy to run advertising for you, just like all the other sponsors do.

Compliments of the winter season here.Bass season is closed and I have nothing better to do than surf the sites trying to learn something. Try it some time instead of trying to sneak in free advertisement. Check out some of the paid sponsors here. There are some really nice sites who pay to advertise.Take a minute to look at some postings. If you would like I can start up senko thread so you can post your website again like you did on the other forum, or you could type in the search here and pull up an old senko thread and respond to it. There has been enough in the past. P N J

Lunkerman, forgot to answer your question-I fish them one of two ways: Lift and drop like you do with a Texas rig or drag it like you do with a Carolina rig. I just experiment to see if i can figure out what the fish want.

I don't beleive in finesse jigs.A jig is a sledge hammer of fishing tools.A 4" worm, or a 5" grub impaled on a jighead is better suited to be a finesse presentation. The fish pattern obviously changed if you cannot get a bite on a jig. Throw a crankbait, spinnerbait, senko type bait and see what happens. P N J

Marty unless I read the rules wrong, It doesn't start until March 1st ? I hate it when I catch bass out of season. Caught 9 smallmouths yesterday, the biggest being 4 lbs.Lizards, thank you for the smallie beavers, I know I thought you said they work well on crappie and pickerel. They will also catch other fish well too. P N J
