My 2007 BPS Master Catalogue came . . .
My 2007 BPS Master Catalogue came in the mail yesterday. Given its large size, I was optimistic that this year's catalogue would have several new baits. Unfortunately, the lures (and many of the pages) are the same as last year. On the bright side, there were many new additions to the terminal tackle.
Anyone else get their 2007 BPS catalogue? |

I got mine and like you stated, nothing new seems to be in there, plus they don't have anything I'm looking for, esp. the better Zoom products

Those catalogs are great for the bathroom. Nothing works like a catalog.

Capt Mike, you said it. The bathroom and BPS catalogue go together like cookies and milk, a reel and pole, or (here is a seasonal analogy) a Christmas tree and presents. |

LOL, I thought I was the only one. My wife can't believe I keep that catalogue in there.

I'm pretty sure you could have an anonymous poll, and find that most of our required reading is in the can

Got mine yesterday as well. The biggest thing I took away from it is the upgrades that BPS has made to their reels. BTW-my wife was thrilled that it came. Just one more thing to take my attention away from her.

I learned something very valuable in this here thread.I was not aware of reading in the bathroom is a regular routine habit.Dammit that would explain why there are 2 bathrooms in my new house.I have been trying to figure out why the hell someone would build 2 bathrooms in one house for and now I know, the guy wasn't a stupid jackass, like I thought. Sorry, this is new to me, My old home had a outhouse.P N J

That's OK, we understand. I do not, however know why you didn't keep your catalogs in the outhouse, though.
What in the world did you swat flies with? |

Dam, you ain't up on outhouse knowledge are you ? There are no flies at the outhouse. There is no odor to attract them to it.You have a ventilation motor system powered by solor panels which is attached to the outhouse roof. The motor forces air down into the concrete holding tank. What the forced air system does is it removes the moisture from the waste and vents it out through piped roof vents.Once you remove the moisture from the waste, bacteria dies, it cannot grow without moisture.Bacteria is what causes odor , which in turn draws flies. Removing the moisture will also improve the time span in between pumpings. We went 13 years before we had the outhouse pumped out, try that with a conventional wet septic system. P N J

My girlfriend couldn't figure out for the longest why I spent so much time on the crapper. I even thought there might be something wrong with me, then my pop came over and was in there for 45 minutes. When he came out, he was holding my cabelas catalogue... that's when I knew I was ok!! I have a stack under the sink dating back to fishing fall 02'. My girlfriend is thrilled! But that's why I have two bathrooms.
