Default I hate spammers

Texasbasser and I started a new site, and we keep getting spammers every night it's soooooooo retarted.

Did you yourself just spam ? You pretty much took the oppertunity to tell everyone you and Texasbasser started a new site. So what new site did ya start ?

Yes, spammers suck, but it's the cost of running a site. lemme guess - a shared forum? Not much you can do about it, other than install some real forum software, and take control for yourself.

yea, a shared forum. I have ban IP and username and that stuff, i just put it to use.

ooh, they already knew where to go - you didn't even get the break most folks get when the site's new and unknown

it's really not much better with a real forum, problem with IP bans is they dont' really do anything to the bots, they just keep innocent folks out.

Spammers just drive me nuts, the first one came before I was a mod, and texas wasn't on so I just had to sit and watch him do his thing.
