hello friends..i leave my batterys in cold all winter..it has been below zero here in pa. all week..i took caps off battery and water is not froze..
every month i put charger on but none of batterys are low, always on full charge but i charge a little anyhow.. i find i have no problems leaving batterys in boat all winter..boat is in garge with no heat.temps get below zero in that garage because i have no insulation in walls etc. next, a trick i was told, instead of fogging your motor in winter, leave batterys in boat and put the kill switch on.. this will not start your motor and it allows oil/fuel to shoot into piston and coat the cylinder. anyone want to comment if they agree or not and why,thanks.. |
