I just bought some canadian nightcrawlers, and im going out tommorow, i have given up using jigs and cranks for acouple days, so i figured it would be a good way to relax every once and a while. Any one else ever do the same thing

Not me. And that shouldn't be interpreted as a criticism of anglers who use bait, because that's fine with me. It's just that I want to fish with lures or not fish at all, unless maybe using corn for carp or something along those lines. |

Nope, not me either. Not a thing wrong with it, I just prefer lures. Good luck and I hope you catch a bunch!

Have been tempted. The stick marsh can be a hard fish now and then. When the going gets tough a lot of people go to the shiners. I have seen people catch 50-100 bass with them. Sucks when I only have got 2-3 using artificials. 8)

Only for Bluegill and Catfish. Mealworm tipped jigs for Bluegill(only occasionally) and chicken livers and minnows for cats.

Heck, I caught three catfish two days ago using a bit of old shrimp. I think they'll bite about anything that smells.

Just artifical baits. I think it makes you a better fisherman, to be able to fool a live creature with a piece of lead and plastic into biting.
