Bites still a little slow ...had tourney on saturday water temps 44-47...this 2.5lber won it...lol, caught on rattle trap blue/silver

Yes sir ! won $100 for biggest fish ...and its only 2.5lbs ...lol

water that cool, a rattletrap would not be on any rod in my boat ..suspending minnow lure would be the only lure i would be throwing..

my favorites becaused i used them for 45 years is RAPALA..
i use 7 ft med lite spinning rod..i like to throw these as far as i can and i point rod at water..

also use biggest reel you can that balances on the rod.bigger spool is better..

bass will key on MINNOWS after ice moves out and water under 55 deg..

take only 1 rod next time, box of RAPALAS,5
colors i use, clown,gold/black,silver/black,perch,rainbow trout..
i am only one in our club that carrys only a couple of rods,usually only 2 on deck, spinning and baitcaster..
not many that could out fish me ..but thats another topic..
