You work hard all week looking forward to getting out to do some fishing on saturday morning, and what happens??? Of course the temps drop to the mid 40's and it is pouring hard outside!!! Of course it was sunny and warm all week while I was at work. Could it hold out for the weekend? Oh heck noooooooo. It has to turn to pure crap. Guess I'll have to drive up to BPS and spend some cash to drown my sorrows. Then maybe I'll throw on my rainsuit and walk along the shore to make a few casts. Who knows, maybe I'll get lucky.

Keith, I caught my biggest bass right after a hard pounding rain. Never pass up a chance to go fishing. You never know.

Well as long as it's not a serious thunderstorm, I'm going to HAVE to get out to make a few casts just to keep my sanity!!!!

No doubt it can be good fishin after a rain, as it is just beforehand. I've got a new spinning outfit I'm wanting to put through it's paces too. It would be nice if it had stayed warm!!! But ya know how it goes come the weekend. Especially up here in the midwest where temps can drop 40 degrees in two hours.

Well, I went fishing and did ok. Caught 3 bass about 3 pounds a piece. All caught on chatterbaits. Got poured on but my rainsuit kept me nice and warm. Now it's budtime.

anytime you make outdoor plans in Kentucky, you can be sure that the weekend will hold rain.
It never fails that the week will be super nice, decide you wanna go camping or something on the weekend, its gonna rain. |
