Sam Rayburn "friends and info"
Hi, my name is kevin i am a 20 year old who is much in the sport of fishing. I have probaly been fishing rayburn at my parents camp for about 15 years and just recently updated my boat and dedicated all my spare time for fishing instead of previous hobbies. I Was searching the net when i came upon this website and was just curios to finding people to meet to discuss fishing and sharing tastics. So just curios to who all on here fishes sam rayburn in texas. Good luck to all fishers!!!!

I have fished it a few years ago, but not since.. welcome to the forum, I go through Orange alot going to FL.

Kerrville, NW of san antonio. You got some nice bass waters around the luisiana/texas border in the swampy areas.

welcome to the forum KVN....i have fished sam rayburn as well as toledo bend...they are nice indeed....fished a tagged crappie tournament out there years ago.....am hoping to get to both of them sometime this summer for sure.....and again welcome to the forum....be aware that there are some dang nice peoples on here....but always wear boots for it does get deep sometimes as well......

I fished a tourney their a few years ago... that lake is huge! Beautiful lake though, lot of big fish weighed in in that tourney... not by me, sadly. Hadn't fished it since though, would like to go back at some point. I'm gonna have to be a better fishermen before I go back and try my luck again though!

I fish Rayburn a bit, havent had much luck, perhaps I am not hitting the right spots LOL. I am new to the forums as well. I hope one day to land a nice fish.
