Got out today trout fishing. Man we had a long winter

oh well bass isn't open till may June. so I got to keep myself busy doing other things like fly fishing. Trout put up an OK fight but tired fast. Here are some pics of todays action remember trout are not that big so no heckling please! lol.

feels great just to get out rob, ours just opened up 3 weeks ago. the snow is gone and hopefully no more freezes like the one that took out most foliage 10 days ago

Oh it's great indeed, can't wait till more opens up. I got the winter blues I think I almost slipped into depression over the winter. Are weather was that bad. No sunny weather for 2 months. It's crazy just the mood swings and bad temper. even for a guy like me who is very tame and happy go lucky.

I thought you lived up in Barrie? (a.k.a. land of the computer thieves from my car) Anyway it is great to get some time on the water. I didn't realize how much I missed it until I was out today. Oh what a feeling! (the only thing Toyota got right)

yeah our stream trout fishin opens next weekend so my stepdad and I are going up past Strawberry on the Stanislaus river to go camping/trout fishing.

Robzilla, after the long winter, even a trout bite will get the juices flowing. Looks like your first pick is a rainbow and the second is a brown? Anyway, nothing beats catchin some fish . . .
